Chattanooga Legal Placement Service
of the
Chattanooga Bar Association
The Chattanooga Bar Association Legal Placement Service (CLPS) provides employers and job-seekers a moderately priced, efficient resume referral service which can quickly provide a source of contact within the Chattanooga Legal Community.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS...
If you are an employer and want to list a position announcement, notify the Chattanooga Bar Association office at 756.3222 and we will send you a CLPS packet. All you need to do is complete the CLPS paperwork, fill out a brief form describing the position available and qualifications needed, enclose the $25.00 listing fee, (currently waived) and return it to the CBA office. The CLPS paperwork may be obtained on the Chattanooga Bar Association website at www.chattanoogabar.org. At that time, we will immediately provide you with resumes that we have received from applicants. We keep the ad on our website for a 60 day period or unless notified the position has been filled.
An Attorney or Legal Support Staff listing involves completion of a General Information Questionnaire and copies of resumes.
Since all employers sign a confidential agreement, compatible resumes are forwarded and direct contact is made by the Employer. Once a CLPS referred candidate is hired, the employer pays a non-refundable placement fee of $500.00 for an attorney positions, and $300.00 for support staff positions.
